Dominic Chen, a 2nd year student of Architectural Studies in the school of architecture in the University of Auckland came to us with an idea:
My group and I are looking at possibly using about 800 of 6 inch glowsticks to light up our structure so that it looks like a glowing cocoon at night time
We promptly agreed to help Dominic with his project, and after initial testing was performed, 900 sticks were used to light the cocoon which was part of an exhibition at Shed 12, Wellesly Street in the heart of Auckland City. The following are a few photos from the event:
